Kennedy 0 #1 April 5, 2013 Oil Spill Timeline FAA puts no-fly zone over Arkansas oil spill with Exxon employee in charge Arkansas Oil Spill Sheds Light On Aging Pipeline System I haven't seen a lot of coverage on this on networks or main news pages. Can't decide if that's because big bad corporate oil is covering it up, or because those evil oil hating lefty reporters are making mountains out of molehills.witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
mistercwood 287 #2 April 6, 2013 Looks like the no-fly zone did it's job then - keep the news choppers away from low altitude long enough to clean up some of the worst = no more super newsworthy shots = less coverage. While I'm not trying to seem paranoid here, it would absolutely be in big oil's best interests here to squash this dead as fast as humanly possible so Joe Public doesn't actually start thinking about Keystone XL again... You are playing chicken with a planet - you can't dodge and planets don't blink. Act accordingly.
billvon 3,118 #3 April 6, 2013 Well, you can be sure that if it had been related to a wind or solar project, Brenthutch and RushMC would already have made 300 posts about it. And had it been a nuclear incident of the same proportions it would be on CNN 24/7. It might even eclipse the Rutgers "mean coach" story.
