The only thing douche about it is that Carrey waited until Heston was dead. Heston put himself out there. He knew what he was doing and the reaction some people would have to it.

That said, it's douche to go after a guy so long after his death when he obviously can't defend himself.

Heston is no longer in the fight.

What Carrey should have done was go after Wayne.

I think Carrey had some balls to do this satire and I commend him for that. I'm sure he considered that many on the right would cry foul and he did it anyway -- bravo.

I also think he's ridiculously talented and hilarious, though this was definitely not one of this best bits. His stuff from In Living Color 20 years back is some of the funniest shit I've ever seen, and fortunately most of it can be found on YouTube.

Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
