You characterised my argument as "It's always someone else's fault". For that to be a valid criticism you would have to think that the Vatican is not at fault. That means that you either think A: the Vatican's preaching of abstinence only is an effective tactic (in which case you are simply not living in the real world) or B: the Vatican is not at all responsible for any decrease in condom use that results from their preaching on the subject (which includes the use of outright lies, BTW).

So. There you go.

You made the statement as a direct reply to something I said about the Vatican. If what you said had nothing to do with the Vatican then you were making a statement that had absolutely no connection with anything that either of us had said thus far in the thread.

Then why did the post say "Re: [Jakee]" at the top? Why did it contain a quote of the exchange between the two of us and no quotes of any other poster's words? Given that the above would reasonably lead any sane person with a grasp of the english language to assume you were replying to me, why did you not give any indication that your statement "As usual, in your world it's always someone else's fault." was directed at someone who was not me?

Again, if you're going to piss and moan about being misunderstood, you should first learn the basics of communication.
