OHCHUTE 0 #1 March 6, 2013 In the Washington Post today are two articles: "Iraqis stinging in criticism of rebuilding effort." "Many say billions of dollars brought nothing lasting, U.S. report says In a second article: "Former Kabul Bank officers convicted." Where it was reported 800 million was stolen from Kabul Bank, by relatives of Karzai. The guys are getting light sentences and since they were never convicted of money laundering the don't have to pay the money back. Apparently they were writing loans to themselves to build expensive houses in Dubai. Since 2001 the US has invested more than 500 billion into Afghanistan. Is it any wonder Karzai wants us out now. HE'S GOT ENOUGH MONEY FROM US AND HE and HIS CLAN DOESN'T NEED ANY MORE MONEY. Apparently no one in the US accounts for any of the money. The US either hands out checks or flies pallets of US currency to the Afgans. Gangsters must be in control of the money supply: who gets it, who gets to keep it, who can skim, who hides out, with absolutely no accountability. A rich privledged gang of people behind the scenes of the US Government, or Government officials-- as the gang, all while our soldiers are unecessarily shot up and killed. When will this BS ever end. OHCHUTE 0 #2 March 6, 2013 Here is were US tax payers money is going. You can tell why Afghani guys who were stealing money were building houses in Dubai, to be close to the Afghan Stock Exchange they are building in Dubai. Imagine a "free" zone, outside of your native country. That's like putting our stock exhcange in China! Unbelievable. And not one US Government official knows anything about this, or can connect the dots? Really. Just keep handing them money. http://www.thenational.ae/thenationalconversation/industry-insights/finance/kabul-plans-a-stock-market-free-zone
jclalor 12 #3 March 6, 2013 It took you over 10 years to figure out that we have been throwing hundreds of billions down the shitter? We don't need the mob to do that.
OHCHUTE 0 #4 March 6, 2013 QuoteIt took you over 10 years to figure out that we have been throwing hundreds of billions down the shitter? We don't need the mob to do that. But it's not going in the shitter... it's going in someones pocket and our government supposedly doesn't have a clue whose pocket! Now HOLDER was up there saying Banks and financial firms are TOO BIG TO JAIL. That bringing criminal charges and convictions to big firms may have serious effects to the world economy. So basically the mafia (I use this term with no disrespect to anyone from Italy, but just to use a word for gang) is legitimized. Fraud and corruption are the new capitalism. So now were do we sign up. I need a new jet.
