rehmwa 2 #1 March 5, 2013 So I heard, not confirmed. Reps propose a spending bill (I have to assume it's military or enforcement) to soften the blow of the sequestor the Dem response is "we should just cancel the entire sequestor" what the heck is wrong with every single one these people? This is a dry run of our ability to handle a SPENDING CUT. And stick to our mission to cut spending. And this one is a drop in the bucket to the overall cuts that are really needed. Call it an inconsequential cut for us to practice the habit. And their responses are both "we can spend, at least, on the stuff we like" and the rationale is to ease the pain - the pain that the nation is just not experiencing at all so far sick and tired and frustrated with politicians....... ... airdvr 210 #2 March 5, 2013 These asshats are making lying, cheating politicians look good. We've got to find a way to get people in Washington interested in doing what's good for the country, not just what's good for their voter base. Please don't dent the planet. Well, since Dems and Reps currently seem to agree on what to do (spend more) sounds like they're doing what's good for both big voting blocs. (Or more accurately what the voters THINK is best for them.) I guess they could ignore them and do what THEY think is good for the country, but they'd be gone before you could say "smug rich elitist asshole."
