Kennedy 0 #3 March 3, 2013 Plenty of gun news doesn't upset me, but there's not much point posting here about new models, interesting innovation, good deals, new competitions or trade shows, who's buying what maker, or other things not relevant to non gun folks. Discussions of what model or type is superior for a particular purpose doesn't really count as news, but as long as it doesn't devolve into chest thumping about a favorite, that keeps me entertained as well. Honest question about personal opinion, not viability in our system today: do you think there should be penalties for using criminal charges as a hammer? I mean when charges are filed to make a point that "we don't like you" more than "what you did clearly violated this code" or when they just over indict in order to force a plea or bankrupt the defendant because they have unlimited time and money? Have you ever seen any repercussion stronger than a judge's verbal disapproval when this happens?
