OHCHUTE 0 #1 February 23, 2013 For those of you who have been plagued with wearing glasses all your life, don't worry. Soon, everyone will be wearing glasses. And soon after: people will be wearing helmets complete with audio and visual. etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1uyQZNg2vE
quade 4 #2 February 23, 2013 Not at the current price point. Few people are going to jump on the bandwagon of Google Glass at $1500. Especially since it is essentially just an interface device that requires WiFi or tethered cell connection to operate. Don't get me wrong...it's awesome...but the price will have to come down considerably. Probably in the range of 2-3x current Bluetooth audio headsets. Right now it's about 15x. Way too high.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

quade 4 #4 February 23, 2013 Doubtful. Maybe one day, but certainly not for several years. I'm guessing you didn't notice the length of standard video clip or quality it could shoot.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Way too high. $1500 is the explorer version. I saw a story that said the first consumer version would likely be sub $1k - thats still too expensive, however its in the realms that the early adopters will jump on it, and the price will come down pretty quickly. Give it a couple of years and I reckon it will be compatible with higher end sunglasses (thinking some of the oakleys with their thicker arms) - throw light sensitive lenses into the mix and you have something pretty cool.Never try to eat more than you can lift
