And another "Family Values" hypocrite

Recommended Posts

Seems that a former US Senator with a perfect "Family Values" voting record for interfering with the reproductive rights of women has now admitted to fathering a child out of wedlock, while married.

I guess his family values involve 2 families.

He should have just stuck to the old cigar game like Clinton:D:D:DClinton knew you can't get pregnant through the mouth,or from a good Havana honey in the hootchy goochy:D:D:D.
I thought Clinton was ok, as far as politicians go,and could care less about his or any other politicians sexual exploits.
That is between them and their families to worry about, though lying about it did not showcase good character.
Politicians and other people in positions of power (cops for another example) tend to get caught with there pants down a lot,and always have.
I agree it is hypocritical, but it seems hypocrisy runs deep on both left and right.
I do not trust any of them to place our needs above their own.

If he would have had the vasectomy done after his last kid with his wife, he could have taken the affair to his grave. Just sayin'. :P

Are we supposed to be shocked that there are politicians that say one thing and do another?

I thought that was the mantra all politicians were supposed to abide by.

It's the republicans that run their campaigns on the high moral standards of family values and routinely get caught with their pants down and/or getting their knees dirty. Get with the program.

Meanwhile, Marco Rubio gets an A+ from conservatives:

Quote

Americans for Prosperity (AFP), gave Rubio an A+ rating on Wednesday for the votes he cast in the most recent legislative session, the only senator in the chamber to receive the honor. On Thursday, the American Conservative Union (ACU) included him on its list of lawmakers with the most conservative voting records.

The AFP and ACU scorecards are just the most recent to be released. He has also received perfect or near-perfect voting scores from the Family Research Council Action, the Christian Coalition of America, Concerned Women for America, the Faith & Freedom Coalition, Heritage Action for America, National Right to Life and National Taxpayers Union.

Given this very high rating and past republican patterns, I woudn't be surprised if this fellow goes tranny in a few years time.

Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

I agree it's hypocritical, but not in the way you're talking about. What is down right hypocritical is when said politician tries to morally thump his chest and tell everybody else what they need to do sexually or with their own body; trying to pass laws to be more inline with these 'christian family values,' and then turns around and does something like this guy.

Apples and oranges with the whole bill clinton vs. this senator-- Bill clinton was not going around and casting judgment on people and trying to pass legislation based on these 'moral values.'
Apologies for the spelling (and grammar).... I got a B.S, not a B.A. :)

Sure seems that way.
It's kind of like that bullshit unreality game show survivor, where deciet and popularity wins over actual survival skills:D:D

No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible.
Believe me I tried.

yeah, dems are perfectly non-hypocritical. It's like those republicans - trying to pass laws to force people to use less energy, but flying around in private jets and owning huge homes.

that kind of thing - good thing both sides aren't guilty of that

I agree that this guy's hypocrisy and deciet are huge.
But you can't just point fingers to the right.
For instance Jesse Jackson Jr( D),a champion of the people, for the people, just like good old dad.
Jr just got busted for stealing,or basicly being a greedy self centered prick.
Then you have Anthony Weiner(D),the weiner.
Then on the right you have I believe Larry Craig(R),who was caught in the airport restroom awhile back, trying to proposition a cop for sex if I recall.
The list of scanda, hypocrisy, and corruption is long on both sides.
I do not like the hard left or the hard right.
I like to feel I'm in the center with the other realist.
