Sorry Wendy, it's true...So let me get this -- your contention is that the darkies forced the telephone companies to give them all their free phones via legal terrorism. Because, after all, the people willing to sue over phone access have so many more resources than telephone companies. Are the darkies most likely to be cheating, or most likely to be poor (and therefore eligible). Or doesn't it matter? airdvr 210 #8 February 12, 2013 Nice bait Wendy but I'm not biting. I have become a Contentist. I am doing as the late Dr. King had hoped and judging, 'not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.' I've already made the judgement that people unable to speak even close to grammatically correct english after attending our fine, taxpayer funded public education facilities are lacking in character. I would suggest that you are actually the racist by assuming that the 'be' in 'he be us' is the type of grammatic error only african americans make. Please don't dent the planet. wmw999 2,589 #9 February 12, 2013 That's why I waited for your answer. The "racist" in it was a pretty clear indicator to me. Maybe I inferred too much Wendy P. wmw999 2,589 #12 February 12, 2013 The cell phone companies petitioned the FCC to let them do the lifeline phones too (according to the article, they saw a small guaranteed per-phone profit there, and they love guaranteed profit). So the FCC let them, and now way more than anticipated people are using it. So the FCC instructed them to crack down. I'm not sure where the cries of racism have come from, either.
