It's still just optional, right? It's not mandatory?

I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..

But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Religious locations will not be forced by this law to hold marriages.. but obviously the law will allow a religious location to hold a gay marriage if the vicar/priest/imman et al. consent.

100% agree, you cannot force tolerance or understanding on someone and it'd just end up in court.. If the poor churches want to turn away the revenue from holding wedding ceremonies then bigger fool them.

This for once appears to be a very grown up compromise from the UK Gov.. Now whether the EU will flag this up as a church 'discriminating' against a gay couple when they say no to a marriage in a church... we'll wait and see on this front..
