If the poor churches want to turn away the revenue from holding wedding ceremonies then bigger fool them. This for once appears to be a very grown up compromise from the UK Gov.. Now whether the EU will flag this up as a church 'discriminating' against a gay couple when they say no to a marriage in a church... we'll wait and see on this front..
