lawrocket 3 #1 January 26, 2013 http://www.webcitation.org/6DxFTq07u I think that Anonymous makes some good points. Right at the start, it states the observation about how laws are wielded less and less to uphold justice and more for the exercise of authority. I find this to be valid. The triggering event was the suicide of Aaron Swartz - who faced 30 or 40 years in prison and a big fine for downloading documents at MIT or something. Ours is a society where lives are destroyed for slight matters. An 8 year old kid who gets beat up faces a suspension for fighting that stays with him forever. Of prosecutors throwing everything at a person as leverage. For all intents and purposes this kid was treated as equal to Bernie Madoff. Ken Lay probably would have gotten 30 years had he lived to be sentenced. I don't agree with Anonymous' motives. But I DO believe that they are making a point that needs to be made. My wife is hotter than your wife.

And how about the pond scum who brought down the nation's (and world's) economy and walked away with bonuses bigger than most people will earn in a lifetime of honest work?... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

Get a grand jury to true bill them. Let's get it done. The people who did (and still are) destroying economies and causing devaluation of currency should all be held accountable. Whether they are in the private or public sector.-- Rob
