From all I've read and heard, Obama is staunchly against guns. I have a gut feeling, the powers of being president has gone to his head. I don't like his use of his powers to get his way. I can't help but think back on who he has associated himself with in the past. If, he gets his way, he'll make law abiding citizens, sitting ducks. He can't see that his taking guns away from honest citizens, 'bad guys' will still have their guns. I think, it's time we start writing letters to our representitives and let them know our feelings. JMO

Recent history is that Obama signed into law the ability for firearms to be brought into national parks and he also signed into law the ability to bring firearms on to Amtrak. Perhaps the most pro gun President in 20 years.

I think with the whole execute order on the table to circumvent congress to get his way has left us with a wait and see attitude. I wont make any more judements until his proposal..or EO comes out.

At the very most he will get rid of the gun show/Craigslist loop holes, large capacity magazines and the sales of ammunition online. confiscation will not even be on the table.

It was interesting to see all the talk about what he was going to do 4 years ago, and all he ended up doing was expand gun rights.

If what you say is true it shouldn't require an EO. I would think congress would pass this..because that seems to be a fair compromise and shouldnt have to resort to an EO if what you say is proposed.

I don't recall anyone saying that he would be pro gun during his first term so he could sucker people in and then confiscate firearms in his second term. Perhaps he was tough on terrorist during his first term so he could pal around with them during his second term.

I wont speak for anyone else but if BHO comes out with some fair legislation [as in not making all assault rifles illegal and calling for disarmament of the law abiding citizens] and implements something similar to what you said I will personally apologize to each democrat for prematurely getting pissed off.
