No Need to Worry About Banning AR-15 MAGS

Recommended Posts

They are unavailable nationwide. From Midway to Brownells. There's none in stock (at least 20 rounders are not available.) Complete AR are running thin and stripped receivers are 12 months back ordered. Obama is the worlds greatest gun sales guy on the planet. Through his action or inaction has promoted the largest sale of semi-automatic weapons this Nation has ever seen. (Also, figure this: Many manufacturers of AR receivers supply DOD. I'm not sure the workings of the feds/ national security concerns etc., and the supply of receivers, but it might come to pass manufacturers just won't have any receivers for the public due to military demands. A back door ban posed as a backorder-forever due to huge demand etc

This started happening while the NRA was being criticized for their complete silence after Newtown.

See this from Dec. 17:

See this from December 18: http://www.fresnobee.com/2012/12/18/3106086/fresno-area-gun-dealers-say-demand.html

The NRA didn't say anything until Dec. 21.

Again, timeline presents a pretty strong evidence disproving the whole "NRA" fomenting panic. The NRA, in fact, has plenty of distance between it and the public panic.

Rather, it seems the public knew what was coming. If only shooters were as predictable as the anti-gun crowd.

>Thats CRAZY!

Exactly! If that was true you would have seen efforts by the NRA previous to this one. They might have claimed that "Obama wants to grab your guns" to get people to buy more guns - thus supporting their industries and swelling their ranks. They might even have been claiming that the way to solve gun violence is through more guns, thus accomplishing the same goal.

Good thing nothing like that happened.

It is now

and it has been as demonstrated by his own words

if we falter and lose our freedoms,
it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

Obama is doing fine on his own scaring people into buying guns. His "marketing plan" makes the NRA's pale in comparison.

Are you kidding? Take a look at Armslist.com. All the magazine and AR speculators have come out of the woodwork.

Yup. I know where you can get a bunch of them...

At $35 each.

Cops can't even get ARs from Cop-only supply houses.:o

However, I did recently realize that I'm sitting on a goldmine of 30rd Pmags.B|

Maybe I should sell some at the going rate ($100 each) and buy that new lens I've been wanting.

It's almost like the stock market. Buy low sell high. The time to buy was a while back, before Obama became President. The time to buy again will be after legislation is passed and the market will be flooded with cheap AR's and parts. Main concern is ammo and that will probably never go down with price of lead etc. .22 shooting anyone?
