So today should be D-day right? Has he attempted showing up?

I'm not there but I've heard nothing. In hindsight I doubt he has any weapons. He's basically a ward of the state. Guns are expensive. Unless someone gave him one or he stole one somewhere he doesn't have the money to make the purchase.

Still, it was frustrating to see the lack of action on the part of the people you should be able to depend on.
