brenthutch 444 #1 January 9, 2013 Al Gore won an Emmy, an Oscar, and a Nobel Peace Prize for the movie an Inconvenient Truth, a fictional tale which promulgated the falsehood of man-made global warming. Nearly all of the points of the movie have been debunked. (Glaciers, Medieval Warm Period, Hottest Year, Heat Waves, Record Temperatures, Hurricanes. Tornadoes, European Flooding, Shrinking Lakes, Polar Bears, Gulf Stream, Invasive Species, Species Loss, Coral Reefs, Malaria, Sea Level Rise, “Scientific Consensus.” and the Economic Costs to name a few.) So he preaches the evils of carbon based energy, while living in several mansions, riding around in SUVs and limos, flying around on private jets, and trouncing the planet with a carbon footprint the size of a small third world country. But that is all ok, because his motives are pure. When greeted by a group of adoring fans, Gore urged the young people, who greeted him with enthusiasm and attentiveness, to be "true to their values" as he spoke about his nearly decade-long commitment to fight and educate the public about climate change... Now he fires his old liberal friends, and sells his company (Current TV) to Al Jazeera, the state-owned media company of Qatar for $500 million petro-dollars, and rushes the deal through so he could avoid paying his “fair share” of taxes. Does anybody have a problem with that? I nominate Albert Arnold Gore Junior, for the “Worst Person in the World” (Apologies to Keith Olbermann)
