promise5 17 #1 December 28, 2012 Did anyone else see the news story on the new robotics that would allow a paraplegic to walk with assistant from a robotic skeleton? It was an amazing piece. bugger of it being the cost of course, upwards of I thought they said 100,000.00$No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried. JerryBaumchen 1,468 #2 December 28, 2012 Hi promise, I am not sure what news piece that you saw; but the one I saw a month or so ago had an awful lot of electronics and mechanics to it. It would seem that they built a device to almost pick the person up and carry them. But if I were there, it would be what I would want. There but for the grace . . . kallend 2,151 #4 December 29, 2012 Interesting article in the latest edition of Scientific American about the bio-electronic interface needed to make these things work.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
