In the seance of self preservation. I just did something that would cause the other humans to want to kill me. So now I need to make flight so I can save myself. I could make a video of exactly the opposite thing happening. A human selflessly saving another, followed by an animal killing another whiles other wait around for their piece of meat. It's called nature. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. I think the biggest mistake humans make is forgetting that we are actually animals and are capable of doing horrific things that in the animal world would just be label as "nature" Spend all the time you want feeling depressed and sad about the state of the human civilization. It's been "animalistic" for as long as we have existed. You can dwell on it and post shit like this on fucking Facebook and make yourself feel somewhat self righteous and on the good side, but really your still an animal. Oh wow it's so amazing that animals can feel compassion, but they also kill ruthlessly to survive. There are a lot of people who understand that humans can act with compassion and also act with cruelty and selfishness. There are a significant number of people who don't realize that animals like dogs can also act with compassion. It's not a matter of knowing that both species can do either. It's that they don't realize anything other than a human can rise above self interest. That's why the video of the dog saving another dog is popular. The video of the child being run over? I didn't watch it. That kind of thing has been 'popular' with a subset of people for a long time. Is rotten.com still around?
