Yes But is does not seem to be working that way Again for anyone out there that has not seen my posts on unions, I have no problem with rank n file It is the ass hat leadership of the unions I have a problem with I was a member for 17 years of the IBEW And lest we forget, unions are one of the biggest special insterest groups out there and THIS fact is why the Democrats are so upset Less money for them"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." regulator 0 #4 December 11, 2012 My wife works for dow chemical. She is always telling me about one particular operator that has never passed his initial training. The guy has used more than 65% of his time in the company on FMLA and she is constantly telling me how horrible he is...never shows up to work...never passes the review...has a bad attitude. He is in a union and they have been protecting him the entire time he was supposedly 'working' there...basically so he could be off so others could get 'his' OT. This person survived in a work environment for close to 7 years while producing almost nothing in return. He was just fired last week.

Much like the teachers who are legally barred from contact with children yet still show up (in a room dedicated for them) 8 hours a day to collect their pay. They cannot get rid of them because of the union and the contract"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." beowulf 1 #8 December 11, 2012 Unions have a long history of violence. The Roosevelt administration supported the unions and their violence.

But, did the union unilaterally decide this and the employer didn't fight it, or was there some judicial body or arbitration process involved?

Let me see if I can find the info But this has been going on for decades if I remember correctly"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." SkyDekker 1,465 #12 December 12, 2012 So it is part of a process outlined in the contract executed by the employer and by the union. Why would you only blame the union for it? The employer agreed to the process.

Sure they did But the employer here is the state And the un-holy aliance continues BTW dont you think 5 years in some cases is a bit long?"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
