Unconstitutional, cancer causing naked body scanners.

That article is some funny reading.

I missed where the article said that. Will you point it out for me?
My reality and yours are quite different.

Guy must write for the National Enquirer:

====================
unconstitutional, cancer-causing naked body scanners

rogue agency freely molesting travelers

successfully gathered enough signatures to file for secession from the union in response to unconstitutional federal tyranny

"Intrusive, physical touching of travelers' sexual organs without cause"
====================

Or any of Murdoch's media outlets.

Yep, the writing is atrocious, the metaphors tortured. But what do you think about the TSA? Do you support the use of these scanners at airports? Should we put them at rail depot and ports? Should TSA be interfering in travels on the streets and highways?

Should we have them sticking their nose into model rockets at planes next?

(a) A public servant acting under color of his office or

employment commits an offense if he:
(1) intentionally subjects another to mistreatment or
to arrest, detention, search, seizure, dispossession, assessment,
or lien that he knows is unlawful;
(2) intentionally denies or impedes another in the
exercise or enjoyment of any right, privilege, power, or immunity,
knowing his conduct is unlawful; [or]
(3) intentionally subjects another to sexual
harassment; or
(4) as part of a determination of whether to grant
another person access to a publicly accessible venue or form of
transportation, intentionally and without probable cause:
(A) touches the anus, breast, buttocks, or sexual
organ of the other person, including touching through clothing;
(B) removes a child younger than 18 years of age
from the physical custody or control of a parent or guardian of the
child or a person standing in the stead of a parent or guardian of
the child;

The "without probably cause" is the part that really needs to be there.

>But what do you think about the TSA?

I think the best possible solution to the TSA is this:

=================
Sacramento International Airport May Replace TSA With Private Security
July 27, 2012 11:59 PM

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Sacramento International Airport is considering making a security change, and it could mean getting rid of TSA agents.

Long lines and long faces are usually what TSA security checkpoint employees see everyday.
But now the airport may be the third largest airport in the country to replace these government workers with ones from a private company.

“It’s a win-win for everything has no bearing on security procedure or the processes the public has become accustomed to,” said Linda Beech Cutler, Sacramento International Airport.

So far passengers at large airports like San Francisco and Kansas City are becoming accustomed to the same plan already in place.

Fourteen smaller airports around the country have also joined the screening partnership program.

“It might be better, less intrusive on us. I don’t like how the government runs their business,” said one flyer.
===================

Gets rid of them and doesn't require new laws.

TSA - good idea poorly implemented. Mostly theater.
