It seems like a few party members see the writing on the wall and would like to steer the GOP forward. But they still seem outnumbered...badly...by folks like GM and all but 2 of the talking bobbleheads at FoxNews. The GOP can probably afford to keep offending black voters, who are a (slightly) shrinking voter block. But pissing off women and Hispanics is really not a good plan for anyone that ever wants to win again. If this election had been held in the 80s, Romney wins. But demographics have changed. I like the latest factoid being jumped on at Fox - married women supported Romney, single women (ie, whores) voted strongly for Obama. Hope the party doesn't misinterpret the meaning as badly.
