Example - he was the one who started the rumor that the NYSE Floor was flooded. he put out a rumor that the subways would be out for a week. Etc. Some of these rumors were put out on news outlets like CNN. What the hell is the press doing? Seriously - they aren't bothering to fact check this? Howard Stern had legions of prank callers who would manage to get on the news and give reports. Maury from Brooklyn's call during the OJ standoff. Or the call that suggested that Colin Ferguson was shouting "baba booey" when he shot those people on the subway. The point that is often lost is that the press is so interested in getting the quick scoop that they don't bother to fact check. It's no better now than it ever was. My wife is hotter than your wife.
