From the man who brought you the disaster following Katrina.. http://tinyurl.com/8ge7b7e I think this highlights just how ridiculous US political life has become. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Gravitymaster 0 #3 October 31, 2012 Criticism of Brown after Katrina only serves to demonstrate how little people know about the purpose of FEMA. It also highlights how dependent on government out society has become. http://www.achp.gov/docs/fema_pa/Summary%20of%20FEMA%20Programs_final.pdf
Gravitymaster 0 #4 October 31, 2012 BTW, if you read what heactually said, it's not what the reporter wrote. Brown was talking about Obama holding a press conference before the full impact of the storm was known. Not that he was too early in reacting with disaster relief. If you want to read what he actually said instead of relying on a reporter to interpret it for you, go here. http://blogs.westword.com/latestword/2012/10/michael_brown_fema_obama_hurricane_sandy.php
headoverheels 334 #5 October 31, 2012 Brown said, "One thing [President Obama's] gonna be asked is, why did he jump on [Hurricane Sandy] so quickly and go back to D.C. so quickly when in ... Benghazi, he went to Las Vegas? Why was this so quick? ... At some point, somebody's going to ask that question." Yes, a partisan hack is going to ask that question. I was wondering how long it would take to see a post regarding discussion that politicizes the hurricane and the president's reaction to it. To be honest, I am surprised this post arrived a couple days after the hurricane hit; I expected it sooner. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
grimmie 186 #7 October 31, 2012 Actually Brown is a complete idiot when it comes to emergency and disaster management. He was in way over his head during his tenure.

Actually, the reporter, whose lame attempt to spin what Brown said is the bigger idiot.
