I like that he brought up Ronald Reagan...the guy who ignored his own Secretary of Defense and got 241 Americans killed in Lebanon as a result, and didn't respond with any signficance, the year before his reelection.

This attack went on for 7 hours and no re-enforcements were sent. They could have flown them from Spain in less than an hour but did nothing. They sat there and watched in on a drone camera and then Obama went to bed.

But hey, lets bring up something that happened more than 25 years ago as a rebuttal. Pathetic, really.

McCain's the one who brought up Reagan. Reagan's involvement with American's killed in Libya doesn't seem all that off-topic to me.

You'll have to forgive me for not taking your account of the events at face value. It would take more than a post on dz.com, or even out of a political opponent's camp to make me believe what you're insinuating.

Fromwhat I'm hearing, it runs much deeper than just letting Stevens die. There was a lot of CIA involvement and this compound was targeted for a "reason" We will have to wait to see how many of these stories are true. This could get really ugly, really fast.
