SkymonkeyONE 4 #1 October 18, 2012 I've read the book several times so I was compelled to see the movie. Oddly, I never knew that they put out the first of the three-part series last year so I never saw it. I ended up watching it on Netflix in the morning before I went and saw part two at the theatre. The storyline is pretty true to the book in both movies. What freaked me out was that the cast of the second movie is ENTIRELY different than that of the first. Why is that? Am I to assume that the cast of the third and final episode will be entirely different as well? FWIW, the cast in the first movie did a much better job. From a movie standpoint, the second movie was horrible. Shitty acting, shitty CGI work. Still, I'm glad they are making the movies. One thing they DID do was tailor the content to make it relevant in today's world. Did anyone else notice that it's cost over $850 to fill the tank of that Ford F-150? I'm sure this one will bomb just like the last one did, but I'm glad that the final episode is going to get made regardless of how the film does at the box office. There were two people in the audience when I saw the second one two days ago. Chuck
