quade 4 #26 October 17, 2012 QuoteHow about more than one guarding the ambassador and 2 former Seals who were working as civilian contractors. Do you actually think that was sufficient security to protect an Amrican citizen and a Representative of the President and the Amrican People? The UN Ambassador gets better security than that at theUN Building in NY. Ok, so you've pretty much just proven my point. We're seeing a range from maybe about a dozen guys total to what was suggested a few posts back of potentially over 1,000 guys. We're talking multiple orders of magnitude from what would normally be considered sufficient to what some WAG was suggesting as appropriate. Well? What IS appropriate? My guess is doubling or even tripling the normal embassy security would not have stopped a determined like number of people who simply had no regard for life. So...go another order of magnitude up? 100? And this is still just a quibbling point by armchair Monday morning quarterbacks. Given the same information as the State Department even the day before...what would be the appropriate level of response? I 100% guarantee you do NOT have the answer. You just don't. There is no way in hell you do. You may think you do in hindsight, but you absolutely do NOT have the answer for the day before it happened. You just don't.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
Gravitymaster 0 #27 October 17, 2012 Wtf are you talking about? What point do you think I proved for you. Is your position that no amount of security was sufficient? Seriously? So why bother increasing security at all? Just let them be sodomized and then murdered? How about he gets the amount of security personnel he asked for instead of his request being DENIED? funjumper101 15 #28 October 17, 2012 How nice that the dirtbags on the right are so happy to be dancing on the graves of the 4 people who were killed in Libya. You really are cold, heartless scumbags. I am sure that none of you dirtbags is aware that Hillary Clinton was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, October 10, and took responsibilty for the events in Libya, same as she did on CNN. Funny how Rupert's paper conveniently failed to print the story. If you are looking for a conspiracy, there is plenty to be found there. I am sure that none of you dirtbags is aware that funding for state department security was CUT by the tea bagger congress. I am sure that none of you dirtbags have a clue as to what an embassy is, and what a consulate is. I am sure that none of you dirtbags is aware that the State department cannot just send whatever security staff they want to send to a host country. The host country has to OK the mission. You folks really are as low as it gets.

This is one of the sickest, most repugnant comments I've seen from you. My wife is hotter than your wife.

How dare you! You cold, ruthless scumbag! 4 people died, and this means that everybody should just shut the fuck up about it. We do not discuss deaths. My wife is hotter than your wife. Gravitymaster 0 #32 October 17, 2012 Wonder why it is that 5 weeks later we still don't know the cause of death of all 4 of these American Citizens? I'm sure we will find out after the election. What a pathetic administration this is.
