In one sense I agree that he should have said something. In another sense, here's a guy who was a graduate assistant at Penn State knowing what will happen to him if he does the right thing.

Trust me when I tell you that no good deed goes unpunished. His inaction may be partly due to him. And it also may be due to the institutional environment in which he was placed. I'd kinda like to see more on that
