I do care about voting and voter registration fraud. I do not care which side does it, it is important to stop it with voter ID laws. I think you know that was the meaning, but I don't think you care.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
Bertt 0 #78 October 1, 2012 QuoteThe GOP caught this themselves and took action. It seems like it is a case of one or a couple workers doing this. It is very different when an organization does this for political gain (ACORN). The GOP discovered it and took immediate action stating there is not room ofr voter fraud and they will not have it. Yes, they caught it in 2008 and did something about it - they hired the same guy in 2012 This is from the Huffington Post, Oct. 20, 2008, but if you don't like this as a source, search for "Nathan Sproul" and Lincoln Strategy and get the same info from the source of your choice. According to campaign finance records, a joint committee of the McCain-Palin campaign, the RNC and the the California Republican Party, made a $175,000 payment to the group Lincoln Strategy in June for purposes of "registering voters." The managing partner of that firm is Nathan Sproul, a renowned GOP operative who has been investigated on multiple occasions for suppressing Democratic voter turnout, throwing away registration forms and even spearheading efforts to get Ralph Nader on ballots to hinder the Democratic ticket. You don't have to outrun the bear. Anvilbrother 0 #86 October 23, 2012 There were counties I watched on the news that were going out to people at NO cost, coming to THEM to get registered. If you are not elderly, or handicap(those with limited income for a reason, or burdens), and don't have the means or money to get registered, you have made POOR life choices and I don't believe you are responsible to cast a vote that decides the fate of the nation anyways. Like here in East Baton Rouge Parish they keep adding taxes onto our property that EVERYONE gets to vote on, which is bullshit. Thousands of people probably tens of thousands are casting votes without any repercussion of what happens because they don't own or pay property taxes, but reap the benefits of what the voted for. In this case a bus transit system that the people who pay for don't use. Should be a sales tax, or higher user fee so that everyone, or at least the people that use the system pay for it.
