RonD1120 62 #5 September 29, 2012 Since one of my degrees is in business I say, Right On! Mitt Romney and Bain Capital were successful in business. That is what they are supposed to do. BHO was successful organizing poor people and defending those who profit from the poor. That is what socialists do. The 47% video is devastating enough - no need to pile on. Besides which, other than the word choice for "harvest", what Romney's saying is not that different from your garden variety venture capitalist spiel. Nothing to see here. shah269 0 #10 September 29, 2012 i have a very good friend who works for the world bank out of the Eastern European Block countries. He and i had a dinner after jesus h bush was elected which i will never forget. When i asked him about the future his words were "The rich will get richer, the poor will die off and the middle class better learn how to speak spanish." Thanks to Jesus H bush and people like Mr. Romney....we are not very far from it. But what can we as the middle class do? Answer? nothing.Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay. The only thing that falls from the sky is birdshit and fools! tkhayes 348 #12 September 30, 2012 QuoteBut what can we as the middle class do? Answer? nothing. The French had a revolution and beheaded them all. They started over with a system that takes care of the people. And as much as everyone likes to heckle the French - the one thing the French do really really well, is take care of the French. There is plenty the Middle class can do. 1 million or more people marching on Washington would probably change things too, 200,000,000 people taking the government to court on a class action lawsuit might do it as well. 200M people writing the letters to their congressmen might work as well. But things will probably have to get a whole lot worse before it get to a point where people take real action....just like in France....
