Is this your lame attempt at pre-emptive damage control? If so, FAIL.

You would be correct if there was any damage to work against
"America will never be destroyed from the outside,
if we falter and lose our freedoms,
it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
Abraham Lincoln

Since one of my degrees is in business I say, Right On!

Mitt Romney and Bain Capital were successful in business. That is what they are supposed to do.

BHO was successful organizing poor people and defending those who profit from the poor. That is what socialists do.

"The business of America is business." ~Ronald Reagan

He plagiarized that from Calvin Coolidge, who said it in overconfidence right before the great depression.

Following his inauguration in 1980, Ronald Reagan redecorated the Oval Office by taking down the portrait of Democratic President Harry Truman and replacing it with a portrait of Republican Calvin Coolidge, who once declared that "The business of America is business."

The number of Americans earning at least $1 million a year increased by more than eightfold during Ronald Reagan's presidency.

Look at the whole video for context

And then we can see what the Obama media does with it

If they do run with it, it would be a prime example of them overplaying their hand. The 47% video is devastating enough - no need to pile on. Besides which, other than the word choice for "harvest", what Romney's saying is not that different from your garden variety venture capitalist spiel. Nothing to see here.

Indeed the divide between the top 1% and the rest of working Americans has been increasingly widening under GOP leadership. A redistribution from the poor and middle class to the rich.

Attached graph shows income gains since 1974 for various income groups.

i have a very good friend who works for the world bank out of the Eastern European Block countries.
He and i had a dinner after jesus h bush was elected which i will never forget.
When i asked him about the future his words were
"The rich will get richer, the poor will die off and the middle class better learn how to speak spanish."
Thanks to Jesus H bush and people like Mr. Romney....we are not very far from it.
But what can we as the middle class do?
Answer? nothing.
Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay.

The only thing that falls from the sky is birdshit and fools!

The French had a revolution and beheaded them all. They started over with a system that takes care of the people. And as much as everyone likes to heckle the French - the one thing the French do really really well, is take care of the French.

There is plenty the Middle class can do. 1 million or more people marching on Washington would probably change things too, 200,000,000 people taking the government to court on a class action lawsuit might do it as well. 200M people writing the letters to their congressmen might work as well. But things will probably have to get a whole lot worse before it get to a point where people take real action....just like in France....
