Fox, the WSJ and other media outlets owned by Rupert Murdoch are, of course, totally unbiased. As are the stations that carry Rush Limbaugh.

You're funny,

dont compare the WSJ to Fox just because it shares the same corp owner. You look foolish to anyone who actually reads newspapers and has a resonable level of intelligence. it is an excellent paper.

I love the NYT also, fyi. i feel it is an excellent paper that leans left and a nice counter to reading the WSJ which is more right leaning.

There was an observable shift when the WSJ changed hands. It's still a much better source than foxnews, but let's not kid ourselves about who runs it.

i have not seen it. it has always been a conservative right leaning paper. more people read it now when it once was business or NYC paper. purely my opinion and maybe since ive read it every day for 20 or so years i just dont notice. kinda like i forget how grey my hair is till someone else mentions it, hah.

It *used to be* an excellent paper. However, its current right wing bias is obvious to any intelligent reader.

It is just done more subtly than FOX.

What about the rachel maddow show? Or the Ed show? How biased do you think those are?

Btw, I can't stand to watch either one of those for more than a minute or two. They remind me of high school girls bitching about anything they can think of. Some of the most childish television there is today. I agree some of Fox's stuff is biased, when is politics not, but damn you just can't outdo rachel or ed.

They are also appalling. Trust me when I say, though, that Rush & company are just as bad.

I don't like the divisiveness they all seem to encourage. I think that the radio talk show hosts are one of the worst things to happen to America; they have us looking for how we can hurt each other, rather than help each other. A pox on all their houses.

Agreed. Its to the point that anytime anyone says something, the other side will attack the hell out of it JUST to disagree. No wonder nothing ever gets solved. If Mitt/Obama said the sky is blue the other party would call bullshit. "I see clouds! It's white! What a lying sack of shit!" Then they look like the immature idiot instead.

I think Rachel, Ed, and a lot of the other Fox people, can all be lumped into one giant category for how ridiculously biased they all are. I can't stand watching any of them, actually. For the networks....The only one that pisses me off less than most of them, at least at the moment, is CNN-- which doesn't mean it is without it's moments, but like I said, pisses me off the least and doesn't make me want to turn it off after two minutes.
Apologies for the spelling (and grammar).... I got a B.S, not a B.A. :)

Fox News employees tried to downplay criticism of Romney's statement on the Egyptian embassy by falsely claiming it was issued before anyone knew than an American had been killed.

Mary Katherine Ham called the Egyptian embassy's statement "pretty appalling." She then said of Romney: "He responded to that before we had heard anything about anybody being killed in Benghazi. And I believe that is the timeline." Anchor Jon Scott later read a portion of the statement issued by the U.S. embassy in Cairo and said, "That is what Governor Romney then criticized saying, look, our embassies are under attack. It later turns out four of our people were killed. And the United States is apologizing." And Juan Williams, asked if Romney's statement was "inappropriate," commented that "the death took place later."

After being called on it she Twittered " "I just double-chekced (sic), and you're right and I'm wrong."

NBC Rock Center had a nice piece last night on Political sludge

Pretty interesting.

I remember the days when nightly news reported events, achievements and the economy. CBS showed us how to manipulate events in Vietnam. The British tabloids show us how to sensationalize the news by lying.

Check out the Blaze TV on Dish Channel 212.

I invite you to check out Glenn Beck, the Blaze TV, now available on Dish channel 212. He and his network is the only source that I am aware of attempting to proclaim a unifying message based on the news of the day.

Glenn Beck is batshit crazy. Lies, untruths, and inflammatory bullshit is his shtick. If one views it as a parody, it is, in a really twisted way, quite funny.

One has to have serious intellectual deficiencies to believe that psychotics like Beck have any connection to reality.

If you believe Becks bullshit, you likely are one of the pinheads that believe that a former professor of Constitutional law is a Marxist/socialist. If one has the intellectual capacity of a twelve year old, it is quite apparent that one of those two statements is blatantly WRONG. The current POTUS spent a few years as a professor of Constitutional Law. That makes the other statement a flat out LIE.

Ignorance is a correctable condition. Stupidity is not.

Where do you get your info about him

You have to get it somewhere because if you did actually listen to him at all, you would know what you just posted is batshit crazy

Yes, I'm quite sure Glenn Beck is trying as hard as he can to unify all of the lunatics, fascists and theocrats under one banner.

But what about everyone else?
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Dude, come on. You don't have to defend Glenn Beck just because he claims to represent the right wing. No reasonable republican should want that hyperactive conspiracy theorist speaking for them.

It's the problem wih politics these days that the main parties pander to these arseholes because they can't bear to give up the support instead of taking them out into the woods with a shotgun and then focusing on their actual, genuine, moderate core.

Dont take my post as defending him

I have had a chance from time to time to listen to him
I dont really care for him but, he is not as crazy as his detractors would say he is

He footnotes all his positions and ask people to call in and tell him where he is wrong

Again, I cant take much of him. But that is just me

But he is NOT a loon as many would have others think he is

I do. You are.

And how does he react when they do? "Oh thank you, I hadn't thought of that, turns out everthing I just said was incorrect"?

Nuh-uh.

But he is NOT a loon as many would have others think he is

Whether he is or whether he just portrays himself as one, the effect is the same.

So who told you what to think about him?
