>ONLY if the EPA keeps doing it illegal human testing
Sorry, to be clear I don't really think your wishes include people dying of lung cancer. Just pointing out the hyperbole in GM's justification.

Thanks but I got it
It has taken me some years to figure out some of your subtleties but, this one I got

QuoteQuoteElectric prices are going to rise per Obama's wishes
Why do you think Obama wants electricity prices to rise? Please don't just say "power" or "control", as that makes no sense.
The mechanism by which "prices would necessarily skyrocket" is a carbon tax. It is the carbon tax that is so irresistible to progressives. And yes it is about control. Progressives think that if they can control human behavior the world will be a better place. Alcohol tax, tobacco tax, soft drink regulation, strip bar tax etc., are all ways to control human behavior. A carbon tax would be the holy grail of taxes because every single human uses energy. Progressives would manipulate energy prices to influence behavior, and the revenue generated would fund the mega-government progressives have been pining for since the turn of the last century. That is one of the reasons the whole global warming thing has been slow to die. It checks too many progressive boxes to go quietly.
Quote>He has stated he wants to shut down coal plants and won't approve building more
> nuclear. What do you think is going to happen to electric prices as demand increases
>and supplies decrease?
Ah, I like the clever spin! Let's see:
So school shootings will increase as well per the NRA's wishes.
So spending will increase as well per the republican's wishes.
So more people will die of lung cancer per RushMC's wishes.
This response is really below you.

It's a given that you'll intentionally miss the point. I think most people understood it; even RushMC did.

I got it. Doesn't change my response.

If consumers were organized, which they could do through the internet etc., they could get a lot done themselves. But they are simply not willing to organize. Major corporations know this and take advantage.

Well, actually the range (according to numbeo) is 87 cents to a dollar. Per liter, which equals roughly 3.50-3.75 a gallon.QuoteWhy is gas RIGHT NOW $.79 cents in Puerto Rico
I looked it up originally because I was just in Puerto Rico in November, and I sure didn't pay any 79 cents a liter, never mind gallon.

Must have gone up since when I was in PR in July. I paid $6.78 CI when I was in Caymen over Christmas add 20% to CI to get the USD equivalent. None the less, gas prices are fixed to what any economy will pay.
