Gun owner to be charges for stopping thief.

This is horse shit.

A thief’s stealing spree was stopped cold when a Pennsylvania man pulled his gun on the robber in Lower Yoder Township, a town about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh. So, what’s the good Samaritan getting for his act of bravery? A medal? A pat on the shoulder from the police? Nope -- he'll be getting a reckless endangerment charge, instead.

To his family, friends and those who know the Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) language that the Grand Island, Neb., boy uses, that gesture uniquely means "Hunter Spanjer."

But to Hunter's school district, it might mean something else. The district claims that it violates a rule that forbids anything in the school that looks like a weapon

The law has no problem with carrying a .45 pistol but drew the line at Ninja throwing stars? WTF???
On another note, just how big a Ninja problem does PA have that it has to pass a law banning their weapons?

I try really hard not to be the "Ugly American" when I travel, but I know I'm the exception.

I know loads of lovely Americans, don't worry you are not alone.

eh...I don't see foreign tourists in the US behaving much better. The self entitled come from everywhere - as seen at Utah ski resorts like Park City.

yeah... I have seen some "Ugly Europeans" in China. They were French though... so I kind of expected it :)
