This occurred when police served an eviction notice and the guy apparently didn't want to comply. It occurred near the campus, but otherwise had nothing do with with A&M.

According to KBTX anchor Steve Fullhart, Caffall's mother released a statement late Monday saying he had "been ill."
"It breaks our hearts his illness led to this," the statement read.

In this case the failings are on the family's hands. They could have stepped in a long time ago, contacting MHMR or local law enforcement about their concerns. The only contact that area law enforcement had with him in this area prior to yesterday were a couple of minor traffic citations.

Now John, last time I lost a friend in a tragic event, you poked fun at the entire event and were completely with out tact. Are you going to do that again now that I've lost another friend in a tragic event? On a side note, I was apart of the police escort today to bring his body back to his home town after leaving the ME's office in Austin.
