normiss 906 #101 August 3, 2012 Mindset does not equate definition. When I'm broke and in debt up to my eye balls, there is ZERO chance of having any definition or interpretation of a surplus. Call THAT whatever the hell you want while insisting it's a surplus and spend freely is simple idiocy. Continue to free spend - it's not your money. Plenty of surplus, jobs, everything is fine. Carry on.

But if you are doing well, and are making $200K a year, and have a $400K mortgage (and $30K a year in payments) you might still be able to donate $1K a year to charity out of your surplus. Even if you really still have some debt. >Call THAT whatever the hell you want while insisting it's a surplus and spend freely is >simple idiocy. Continue to free spend - it's not your money. Plenty of surplus, jobs, >everything is fine. Carry on. I think you are confusing definitions of words and philosophies. It's a mistake to try to redefine words to try to enforce your way of thinking IMO.

The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
