it averaged 9 %


during the last year of the first Bush presidency when Clinton taking the office saying that we had the worst economy since the depression?

around 3%


the first two quarters of this year?

umm, if the economy was growing 9% then we were no longer in a recession. So not exactly sure what you mean to use that data for.

Employment trails recovery, historically speaking, so in 1992 the GDP may well have been at 3%, but the job scene was still poor.
