Romey making Al Borgh look good!

I liked Gordon Brown's statement in return. How it is a little harder to organize the Olympics in a busteling city as opposed to "the middle of nowhere" lol

The diplomatic version of Fuck You.

i disagree. I think it would be much more difficult to have the Olympics in a remote location. Just the coordination between suppliers, shippers and contractors would be a real challenge.

I wonder if Gordon Brown ever found an NTSC TV and DVD player to watch those Obama speeches on. :D:D:D

lol, it was a shot at Salt Lake City and Romney's involvement in it.

By the way, Romney himself has stated "it is hard to put on the Games in a major metropolitan area.".

It will now be fun to watch you disagree with me while trying not to disagree with Romney :)

Puh-leeeeze! Romney was specifically asked about his thoughts about the security issues which, splashed all over the news internationally, are no big secret. He did not "raise the issue" of security failures. His response was simply that it was "disconcerting". It is the British immigration and customs union workers who have threatened to strike on the eve of the games. It is the British security contractor that failed to meet its personnel obligations and required the military to step in and fill the gaps. Yes, it is "disconcerting" ...at the very least. By their feigned indignation and ridiculous, childish responses to Romney's comments, those who publicly and vocally take offense are unwittingly and unnecessarily raising the bar for security at the games.

I don't think it was the comment on the security that riled the Brits as much as Mitt's calling into question their commitment to making the event a success.

"There are a few things that were disconcerting, the stories about the private security firm not having enough people, supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials, that obviously is not something which is encouraging. Because in the Games, there are three parts that makes Games successful.
'Number one, of course, are the athletes. That’s what overwhelmingly the Games are about. Number two are the volunteers. And they’ll have great volunteers here.
But number three are the people of the country. Do they come together and celebrate the Olympic moment? And that’s something which we only find out once the Games actually begin".

Mitt's busy sucking some major British cock while trying to "walk back" his remarks.

If he whiffs at a big looping softball, How cold he ever handle Iran? I'm starting to feel sorry for him.

i'm sure it's difficult to put them together regardless of the location. I just disagree with the insinuation that it's easier in a remote location. Besides that, how would Gordon Brown know which way is more difficult? Now, go ahead and disagree with me.

I pretty much equated Romney with John Kerry since day 1.

Help us.....He's even worse at it. I get the impression that when he wants to try to score "pandering points" with a crowd, then he thinks he can just 'wing it' and be fluent and smooth. (he likes "lakes" for example, or tries to get seniors to sing america the beautiful (need a gag icon))

He really can't wing it at all, it's a bit sad to watch.

Right now, the only thing going for him is Obama, REALLY REALLY, sucks. But, since it's a PR game for most voters, it'll be tight.

His best bet is to just try and be clear about policy and also what went wrong the last 4 (or 12 years, since the last 4 were just the previous 8 on steroids) and to not even TRY to pander without a script. It works for the other guy.

and, of course, just make it about the Health Care thing and also what it represents long term about our society and let the people choose from that

we are so screwed no matter what

I think I get it!
If you take 1 part
http://joe-perez.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Al_Gore-from-wikipedia.jpg
And 1 part
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d4/George-W-Bush.jpeg/220px-George-W-Bush.jpeg

You get this screw up!
He is robotically stupid!
Stiff and potently stoned!
A trust fund baby who won the sperm lotto!

This is the best the GOP had?
Judas Obama must be giggling himself to sleep every night! I mean really!
Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay.

The only thing that falls from the sky is birdshit and fools!

Actually, I don't think Obama is sleeping too well at night.

Even if Obama manages to win, it's very likely Republicans will control the House and Senate. Effectively shutting down his agenda.
