Latest liberal conspiracy against Romney

Recommended Posts

Comes to us in the form of - Batman. Seems that the lying liberal media (or Hollywood, or Marvel Comics, or some other evil liberals) named the villain in Batman "Bane" to make people think of "Bain" which of course is the name of the company that Romney wasn't the CEO of from 1999-2005. From the de facto head of the Republican party:

=============
Have you heard, this new movie, the Batman movie—what is it, the Dark Knight Lights Up or something? Whatever the name of it is. That's right, Dark Knight Rises, Lights Up, same thing. Do you know the name of the villain in this movie? Bane. The villain in the Dark Knight Rises is named Bane. B-A-N-E. What is the name of the venture capital firm that Romney ran, and around which there's now this make-believe controversy? Bain. The movie has been in the works for a long time, the release date's been known, summer 2012 for a long time. Do you think that it is accidental, that the name of the really vicious, fire-breathing, four-eyed, whatever-it-is villain in this movie is named Bane?

Pretty sneaky...and exactly how did they get their hands on my FutureCam technology so they'd know Romney would be the nominee?

Bane is a fictional character who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character's origin was in Batman: Vengeance of Bane #1 (January 1993), and was created by Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench, and Graham Nolan.

One would think they'd use the FutureCam to buy winning lottery tickets or something.

.

Tardis.

Pfft. The Tardis was invented simply to save production budgets. The FutureCam is backed by "science"!

Funny as hell.

Even three years ago, it was even money or better than he would be the nominee. Though i can't imagine there are that many references to the name, so it could have been altered in post production easily enough. When Arnold's Erasure movie came out in the 90s, it featured an evil company that had the name of a second tier cpu maker. They requested, and the producers complied, for a minor name change.

No, I don't believe for one second that they named the bad guy after Romney. If it had been 'mittens,' otoh...I'd insist on checking their phone records against Jon Stewart's number.
