rehmwa 2 #1 July 12, 2012 The guy failed to speak down to the audience. He didn't quote any rhymes, pretend to speak like a preacher, or treat the crowd like lower class idiots or treat them like a huge group of stereotypes like Hillary did or Obama does. He just talked about his positions without any pandering to the crowd. I thought he was the next John Kerry (super rich northeastern panderer), but this was refreshing to see. I wonder if it'll be a consistent thing. It could just have been calculated strategy too. We'll see...... I'd still like a better choice than the two in front of me, but it's slightly better. ... rehmwa 2 #3 July 12, 2012 we'll see - it could still just be a PR stunt but if both sides would just put out their vision - without the bashing and lying about each other - and then let US decide what we like. We'd all be better served. Whatever the motivation - this is still closer to how it should be done ... Gravitymaster 0 #4 July 12, 2012 Whether it's a PR stunt or not, it's still refreshing to see any politician articulate his positions without the pandering bullshit. When was the last time you saw that?
wmw999 2,589 #5 July 12, 2012 I agree with all the above. I hope he's being honest, and not pandering. I'll still probably vote the other way, but the more I see of him, the gladder I am that Romney's the Rep nominee.
