Gravitymaster 0 #127 August 13, 2012 Quote Quote So, it is about jealousy and not illegality? Matt I don't begrudge Romney his wealth. Given the longstanding tradition of candidates releasing tax returns and being transparent about their income, I suspect Romney's returns must contain information he believes would cost him the election. If he thinks they're that bad, well, he's probably right. Blues, Dave Kind of like the same reason Obama won't release his College Grades?

Don't you think that's more important than learning what we already know about Romney..that he's a very smart guy who made a lot of money? Sounds like exactly what this country needs right now. If he has broken any laws, let the IRS deal with it. I'm sure Eric Holder would be on him if there was anything nefarious.

Reagan would have been viewed by you as a Democrat, then. He didn't switch sides until LONG after college. Hell, 2 years ago, Romney believed in socialized medicine and abortion rights. Then the primaries came along...it's a bit funny to want to see what Obama's philosophies in the 80s were. If you're going to hold him to those (btw, taking a class isn't really espousing a philosophy...or you missed the point of college), then you need to hold Romney accountable for his total reinvention. normiss 889 #135 August 13, 2012 It would be insanity to think that anyone in this country could not pay taxes for 10 years and the IRS NOT catch on. More so when it's Romney amounts of money.

Gravitymaster 0 #139 August 13, 2012 Exactly. The discussion is simply Obama supporters parroting left wing talking points. Still waiting to see that Obama budget proposal so we can compare it to Romney's and Ryan's.
livendive 8 #140 August 13, 2012 Quote Exactly. The discussion is simply Obama supporters parroting left wing talking points. Nope. I think Reid's assertion is probably a ruse. That said, there's a reason Romney won't do what his dad and the last several Presidents have done. I don't know what that reason is, but if he thinks I'll view it unfavorably, I'm ok with obliging him. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" normiss 889 #150 August 13, 2012 It's actually more fun to read into the POTUS budget proposal and still be twenty something pages into and still read blame the last guy technique. I've never had a job in my life that I would keep were I to espouse that sort of nonsense in defense of a poor performance record. Only in politics. Weather forecasting too I suppose.
