billvon 3,132 #1 June 29, 2012 This just in. Not only is Obama responsible for the recession, illegal immigration, the war in Afghanistan, global warming, bad breath and yappy dogs, he apparently is now responsible for the Colorado wildfires. And why is he responsible? Because he's not spending enough. This from Michelle Malkin, the award-winning GOP pundit responsible for such gems as defending US imprisonment of Japanese during WWII, claiming Kerry shot himself to get a purple heart and running a website that called the mother of a dead US soldier a whore. ========================== Obama Bureaucrats Are Fueling Wildfires Colorado Springs— The smell of singed air here is inescapable. Less than 50 miles west of my neighborhood, the latest wildfire has spread across 1,100 acres. It’s the fifth active blaze to erupt in our state over the past month. But ashes aren’t all that’s smoldering. The Obama administration’s neglect of the federal government’s aerial-tanker fleet raises acrid questions about its core public-safety priorities. . . . Where there’s smoke swirling over Team Obama, there are usually flames of incompetence, cronyism, and ideological zealotry. The ultimate rescue mission? Evacuating Obama’s wrecking crew from the White House permanently. November can’t come soon enough. http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/303330/obama-bureaucrats-are-fueling-wildfires-michelle-malkin =========================

rehmwa 2 #3 June 29, 2012 Got it - Opinion types represent the entirety of their respective parties. That simplifies things greatly. Michelle Malkin = GOP should be a great debate when Olbermann blames Bush (or possibly the hyper conservative Supreme Court) for the fires ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants
JohnRich 4 #4 June 29, 2012 Even more damning than what you say against Malkin, is the fact that you attribute what Malkin says to the entirety of the GOP.
normiss 906 #5 June 29, 2012 Interesting. I would have expected it to be blamed on Bush. Like everything else.

DanG 1 #7 June 29, 2012 Of course Malkin doesn't represent the entire GOP. On the other hand, I expect you to voice your disapproval next time a conservative poster writes something like, "Liberals want to..." while citing a single opinion piece. It happens all the time, and you know it. - Dan G
billvon 3,132 #8 June 29, 2012 >Even more damning than what you say against Malkin . . . . Oh, she does a pretty good job of damning herself. >is the fact that you attribute what Malkin says to the entirety of the GOP. ?? Who said entirety? She's a GOP pundit; she writes for (and is well paid by) a conservative magazine and is a frequent GOP contributor on FOX News. She has written three conservative books attacking liberals. Anyone who claims that she's not speaking from a GOP perspective is blind. The GOP (Malkin, Boehner, Romney, Limbaugh, McCain, Palin, etc etc) is still hurting from association with the last administration. Rather than be part of the solution, their response has been to blame Obama for everything. This is yet another example of that.

Southern_Man 0 #10 June 29, 2012 The fires started because Obama is/was a closet smoker. If he hadn't set the bad example with hiding fire then the Colorado mess would never have happened."What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

masterrig 1 #12 June 29, 2012 If, his nickname is 'Lightnin' then, there might be a possibility he started those fires in Colorado. Are those people for real? Chuck
