tkhayes 348 #2 June 11, 2012 hey we elected a former Muslim, non-citizen at President right? What's the big deal It's a free country - get used to it. If you don't like him, don't vote for him. Hell Michelle Bachmann got elected and she is far more radical than any Black Panther
DanG 1 #3 June 11, 2012 Guys sounds a little over the top, but I'm sick of the unspoken requirement to support everything Israel does without question. Legitimate criticism of the actions of the State of Israel is not anti-Semetism, although some people would have you believe it is. - Dan G

I just find it ironic that this guy is a blatant racist but the Dems are the party against that..... right..... right..... DanG 1 #5 June 11, 2012 If the quotes attributed him in your linked article are the worst things he's ever said (and they likely are given the nature of internet journalism) I don't think blatant racism is even close to an accurate description. Questioning Israel and the power of the pro-Israel lobby is not anti-Semetism. - Dan G

I think you need to read the article again..... the quote about the Jews walking around like they own the place.. paraphrasing.... what about that? People get fired over things that are not even close to as racist as that.Life is all about ass....either you're kicking it, kissing it, working it off, or trying to get a piece of it. DanG 1 #8 June 11, 2012 That was the only quote I found to be racist, and I don't know the context. Like I said, "blatant racist" is a bit of a stretch. I'm not supporting the guy, I'm just taking the opportunity to say that anything anti-Israel is not necessarily anti-Jewish. The comment he made about another councilmember caving to the Jewish lobby it entirely appropriate. Questioning the history of Israel is not anti-Semetic. - Dan G
kelpdiver 2 #9 June 11, 2012 QuoteThat was the only quote I found to be racist, and I don't know the context. Like I said, "blatant racist" is a bit of a stretch. "At a 2002 rally in support of reparations for slavery, he said: “I want to go up to the closest white person and say, ‘You can’t understand this, it’s a black thing’ and then slap him, just for my mental health.” Are you sure you read the article? But for Rstanley - maybe you should wait until after the primary? David Duke ran for office under both the Democratic and Republican flags, but this isn't something that either could prevent. DanG 1 #10 June 11, 2012 Okay, I forgot about that one. That's wrong. I was focusing on the anti-Semite angle. - Dan G
