Gravitymaster 0 #2 June 9, 2012 Remove the tele-prompter and this is what happens. I'm sure they won't let this happen again. Pretty sure the RNC and the Romney campaign will use this in political ads soon.

I have heard the President later clarified his comments. Apparently he was talking about a soldier named Private Sector. He says he was just letting his family know he was doing fine. davjohns 1 #7 June 9, 2012 I have a house I bought for 199k on the market at 130k and it isn't moving. Unemployment rates are rising again. At the personal and statistical level, I am not prepared to say things are getting better.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

That's what happens when you are more interested in your golf game than what's actually going on in the world and need a tele-prompter to keep you in touch. jclalor 12 #10 June 9, 2012 Intentionally misquoting Obama and taking it out of context is nothing new, Romney aready admits to doing so. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/23/mitt-romney-obama-ad_n_1110884.html Enjoy the Republican circle-jerk while it last. Gravitymaster 0 #11 June 9, 2012 Seems like a reasonable response to me. Romney is using what Obama said about McCain against him now. No different that using a clip where Obama accuses Bush as being unpatriotic for his spending.
jclalor 12 #12 June 9, 2012 "The ad which began airing in New Hampshire Tuesday uses audio of then-Sen. Obama campaigning in the state in 2008, saying: "If we keep talking about the economy, we're going to lose. The ad omits any acknowledgement that Obama was quoting the campaign of his opponent, 2008 GOP nominee John McCain. Instead, the ad leaves the impression that it is Obama who does not want to discuss the economy." This is different.

Interesting you have nothing to say about him standing up there and unleashing a huge whopper. This comes close to rivaling some of Bidens, Wasserman-Schultz and Holders whoppers.
