DaVinci 0 #26 June 7, 2012 Quotea) how political the cuts were in the first place (entirely unions, which usually vote blue, but exempting emergency workers who generally lean red). I think tax increases and spending cuts should at least make appearances of bipartisanship, with the entire populace bearing the burden, not just the other guys. He only went after PUBLIC unions since he saw them as a major issue to the STATES budget. Fire and police were exempt only because it was the only way the bill would pass. Even FDR tried to prevent public unions for the same reason Walker went after them.

But hey, if there are governors out there with so much money they don't know what to do with it all, and plenty of spare time, it might not bother them. Gotta have a lot of money to match the unions And Walker barely did that"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Another fact reported today When Walker took office WI was a non-right to work state. So all 60,000 public sector employess had union dues taken from their checks . Now, WI is a right to work state. You can pay union dues or not. Your choice 40,000 no longer pay dues Very impressive in a year I think"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
