Good marksmanship would not require 8 rounds of .40 to the chest to stop someone. And she shot him 4 more times after he called 911???"There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Even if its a 12 round double stack (generally translating to 10 rounds), 80% is rather high.

I recall that the 1911 Model .45 handgun was developed for U.S. troops in the Philipines because the .38's they had weren't doing the job against Moro tribesmen, who were all hyped-up on drugs to bolster their bravery. The .45 was big enough to knock 'em down no matter how much drugs they had taken.
ryoder 1,590 #7 May 22, 2012 True, but the muzzle energy of a .40 S&W is a little greater than a 45ACP."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
