billvon 3,120 #3 May 9, 2012 Nope, they're still a few here and there and still as fun as ever. The latest battle in the GOP War on Women comes from the Tea Party: =================== Fox News guest laments ‘mistake’ of letting women vote By Stephen C. Webster Monday, May 7, 2012 15:20 EDT Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, a tea party activist that’s appeared several times on Fox News, and founder of an organization where Sean Hannity serves as an advisory board member, said in a sermon recently published to YouTube that America’s greatest mistake was allowing women the right to vote, adding that back in “the good old days, men knew that women are crazy and they knew how to deal with them.” In the video, published to YouTube in March, Peterson explains that he believes women simply can’t handle “anything,” and that in his experience, “You walk up to them with a issue, they freak out right away. They go nuts. They get mad. They get upset, just like that. They have no patience because it’s not in their nature. They don’t have love. They don’t have love.” . . . . “I don’t know if you noticed or not, but the liberal Democrat womens are calling themselves whores,” Peterson replied. “They came out with their so called group of women who are within the Democrat party, and they are admitting that they’re whores and they are saying that they are proud of it. I’m okay with that, I just don’t want to pay for it.” . . .After giving his controversial sermon. Fox News host Kirsten Powers confronted Peterson about his “mysogynistic” speech and challenged Hannity to repudiate it, but the Republican opinion host did not, and instead gave Peterson a platform to denounce “liberal, women policies.” That may not be a surprise, however: Hannity has hosted Peterson numerous times and even serves on BOND’s advisory board. “BOND continues to fight the good fight standing for the values of God, family, and country, and are deserving of our support,” he said, according to the group. ========================

Yep, the Tea Party is making efforts in replacing those Repub...in name only and replacing them with those that will make a effort to bring about the CHANGE this country truely needs. Freedom from the heavy hand of government. Attended a local Tea Party event at Clear Lake, here in the Houston area near NASA several weeks ago. Had about 1,500 people in attendance. We hope to do our part in getting Cruz elected for US Senate.Just a side note: We had some several hundred FINE Looking independant women in attendance, unlike that other party that has the NAGs.http://nbcpolitics.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/05/08/11604125-six-term-senate-veteran-lugar-defeated-in-indiana-primary?lite Good deal

Tea Party didn't even get top billing here. Seems more of a case of the new orthodox GOP rejecting their elders for daring to stray from strict doctrine. But he still needs to win the main election. rehmwa 2 #8 May 9, 2012 Quote the fact that you try to color all tea party members with someone who is out there simple- if you don't like someone on the right - color them as the stereotype of the evangelical wacko - that includes righties that are only fiscally driven and mean well and understand about economics if you don't like someone on the left - color them as the stereotype of the 3rd generation drugged out welfare nut - that includes lefties that have jobs and mean well now I can look forward to the predictable crack where people claim the descriptions to the right of the hyphens don't really exist ... I have joked about women having the right to vote. Maybe the Reverend Peterson was also. Liberals are running scared and searching deep to find BS examples to support their dwindling causes. There is no "war on women" in the conservative ranks, the Tea Party or the Republicans. The main advocates and organizers for conservative and Tea Party gatherings and issues awareness seem to be the women. Bottom line, the American people are fed up with the federal government idiocy. Change is coming and hope is that it will not be too late for our beloved country. I just got back from our enclave in the north GA mountains. The folks up there, as down here, are steaming mad. They want BHO and his socialist cronies OUT.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them. They can certainly work to influence the votes, but they missed the part where they could influence the agenda.
