The Governator on the GOP

Recommended Posts

Schwarzne, okay, I still can't spell it, makes some good points.

There are reasons why I am not a Republican and haven't been one since, oh, 1993. It's because I disagree with way too much about the party. The GOP IS extreme - and the Democrats no less.

The GOP and the Dems are both equal and opposite to me. Both sides tend to pander to hate of one form. Neither seem to be about being useful to anybody but rather to obtain votes by being detrimental to the other sides.

I don't think I disagree with anything Arnie wrote. I will, however, point out that he is much to blame for it here. He was the governor - the de facto GOP leader. And didn't bring about a change.

Of course, when he first took office, he had a fairly visionary idea of changes he wanted to make and the State Assembly handed him his ASS! Hence, he realized that he wasn't going to do anything without caving. And he STILL didn't manage to do much of what he initially intended, though he caved quite nicely.

My wife is hotter than your wife.
