Not sure how I feel about the announcement by Obama is Afghanistan yesterday. I have a problem with this part of it... Obama spoke of a "negotiated peace," and said his administration has been in direct talks with the Taliban. "We've made it clear that they can be a part of this future if they break with al Qaeda, renounce violence, and abide by Afghan laws,"(emphasis mine) he said. What's the old saying...wish in one hand. I am glad that we have a fairly clear road out of that hell hole. Still, negotiations with Karzai is a slippery slope. Add the Taliban to the mix and I think you've got shit stew.

I know how I feel; pissed off. I really thought Obama would have the brains to get us out of there, I'm now gonna be paying for this shit the rest of my life?

I guess now that Obama has laid out his Afghanistan policy, Romey can now take the opposite position.
