lawrocket 3 #5 April 27, 2012 I heard about this. Apparently, some non-law enforcement private citizen George Zimmerman egotistical hero type who is both evil and reckless and clearly has no regard for the sanctity of human life pulled a gun on the alleged and unproven "attcker," forcing the poor guy to drop his defensive stance and submit to the will of a mob of kooked out Utahns who assaulted and imprisoned him until the police came and got the right-wing Mormon gun-toting loony racists off of him, where the police could provide a proper investigation. When will we learn that private citizens with guns are dangerous? That citizen could have shot somebody with that gun! Citizens should stay out of business and wait calmly until the donut-carriers arrive. My wife is hotter than your wife.

lawrocket 3 #8 April 27, 2012 Both sides have arguments on this. Good thing the guy didn't have a gun. And good thing the good guy DID have a gun. My wife is hotter than your wife.
Andy9o8 3 #9 April 27, 2012 The moral lesson of the story is that he paid for the gun, and didn't steal it, even though he was under stress. It's a parable about honesty.

Knives generally lose out to guns, but they have a few advantages - don't run out of ammunition, are silent, and the wounds they create can be harder to fix (bleeding from clean cut arteries). Moral of the story is we need to ban large gatherings of sheep.
