I almost agree with this. Both parties take my money and give it to those who keep them in power (and to themselves).

I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..

But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Couldn't agree more, and have been saying it my entire adult life - though Mr. Downs is older than dirt so he's probably been saying it longer.

I remember as a teenager, and nearing draft age during the Vietnam War, being utterly appalled at how the country was being run, and amazed that so much of the adult population could be so thoroughly duped.

Basically, the elite have decided that since they seem to be forced to live within a democracy, they'd solve things by simply buying all candidates from both parties.

It's worked out great for them.
