jdfreefly 1 #1 April 17, 2012 http://stlouispark.patch.com/articles/torgerson-republican-convention-that-endorsed-fields-overrun-by-libertarians The most hilarious part: Quote Please note that Libertarians, who actually have PROGRESSIVE positions: - want to eliminate the TSA - want to eliminate the Patriot Act - are anti-war - are pro gay rights - don't want to protect Life with legislation - have a pro Muslim agenda - are generally anti-Christian - don't want to support Israel - don't want to prevent a nuclear Iran - want to legalize illegal drugs - want to legalize prostitution Yup, that is what the true libertarians stand for, more so than the entrenched leadership in either party, and if they gain the momentum and hijack one of the parties to their platform guess what, that's how the it is supposed to work. Politics would be much more interesting in this country if this movement gains steam. Dear god, Bill Von may have to register as a republican. Methane Freefly - got stink? Probably not. I just want the goobermint out of my life as much as reasonably possible. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. I agree with your assessment of those statements above. A true libertarian is not pro gay or muslim or other. Live and let live. Leave gay people alone. Leave muslims alone. Leave christians alone. The government has no business dealing in religion or sex to begin with. If some group or individual threatens others, you squash them regardless of their religion or sexual preference. Otherwise, who cares.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

lawrocket 3 #6 April 17, 2012 Nicely said. Libertarians just want to be left alone and to leave others alone, unless trying to make an honest buck. My wife is hotter than your wife.

I think that's reason to have HOPE that we will see some real CHANGE. Methane Freefly - got stink?
