devildog 0 #2 April 15, 2012 Saw this the other day and was glad at least someone from the TSA was saying it's a bust, but still, if they were serious about security and not breaching your basic rights as a citizen, they'd stop the 3 year old strip searches and adopt a system like Israel's.You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions. The overreacting by our government has been orders of magnitude more damaging to us than the acts of all the malevolent Mohammadeans put together. If this were done, it would matter not one bit if the lawsuits were laughed out of court. To defend a lawsuit for sufficiently long for it to get laughed out of court by the judge will still cost an employer a lot of money in legal bills. It wouldn't take long before big employers--who have much more leverage than the little guy--started to demand a change."It's hard to have fun at 4-way unless your whole team gets down to the ground safely to do it again!"--Northern California Skydiving League re USPA Safety Day, March 8, 2014

kawisixer01 0 #16 April 17, 2012 Quote kinda sounds like the terrorists won. all they wanted was to disrupt our way of life and make things miserable...i would say mission accomplished. That and ruin our economy, make us broke, ruin the value of our currency, and cost us billions in spending on a war in a far away land. The funny part is we fell hook line and sinker for that as well. These guys are fighting us with bombs that cost them pennies to make and we're dropping millions of dollars in bombs on them every day from planes that cost tens of millions of dollars, based on ships that cost hundreds of millions of dollars. I suppose it isn't so bad to be the guy sending all this money to defense contractors if you have a lot of stock in them (Bush/Chaney). Kinda like the other former TSA director. He made the decision to push body scanners, then went to work in a nice golden job at the body scanner manufacturer after leaving the TSA.
